Tradestaff are looking for an engineering labourer for a short term assignment with the potential for on-going work. MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL!

Our client is extremely busy with out of town work so they will be travelling out of Christchurch for 2 weeks at a time.

Our clients work in the meat processing industry and require someone to assist in the rebuild work and maintenacne of meat works machinery. This job will will be short term however for the right candidate there is the potential for long term work with the company moving forward.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a mechanical engineering background or at least a proven "mechanical mindset" with the ability to think on your feet
• Be familiar and have proven experience with using basic hand tools and power tools
• Be honest and reliable with the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Willing to work out of town for up to 2 weeks at a time

  Due to the high amount of applicants we wil be receiving, the following qualities will further help you in being successful:

  • Have worked in the meat proccessing industry as an engineering labourer and/or maintanence assistant
  • Experience/knowledge in welding and fabrication
  • Current site safe ticket
