Machine Guarding Maintainer

Design new and improved guards for sawmill machinery

Due to our region experiencing growth we are looking for a new candidate to fill a role at New Zealand's biggest producer of wood-based building products.

Your role will include

* Maintaining safety guards on machinery

* Designing new guards

* Ensuring instalments of new guards are done correctly

* Provide quality guards up to the standard of AS/NZS 4024

* Monday until Friday

* Part Time hours

* Shifts between 7 am until 4 pm

To be eligible for this role you will need the following

* Knowledge of AS/NZS 4024 standards

* Machine maintenance

* Engineering and fitting experience would help

* Strong Health and Safety focus

* Ability to work around large factory machinery

To be eligible you must be able to pass our pre-employment screening which includes:

* Ministry of Justice Checks

* Drug Screening including synthetic testing

* Reference Checking (2 - 3 working references)
