Job description

If you've built a career in the electrotechnology sector and are ready to down tools, but don't want to leave an industry that you love - we have the answer. Take your wealth of experience and knowledge online and into the classroom, to support the hi-tech tradies of the future.

Online learning is where it's at for learners in 2020, but there's still a place for the kind of traditional tutoring a seasoned professional like you can offer. Add to this a surge for electronics, access controls, CCCTV, security systems, and other low voltage work and you'll be sure to enjoy the variety and diversity of the position.

At ETEC, you'll be part of a passionate team of like-minded industry specialists, based at an impressive new training facility in East Tamaki. Your role will involve around 40% face-to-face training and 60% online - answering student queries, identifying training needs, running assessments, recording results, providing feedback and communicating progress to help students successfully navigate a blended learning environment

Rest assured, your desire to teach, relevant EWRB registration, and broad industry experience will be supported with plenty of training and guidance from other tutors, to carefully build your teaching capabilities. You'll also enjoy having input into course content and resources to ensure students are up to date with industry development.

In addition to immense job satisfaction, you can look forward to an attractive salary and generous range of benefits including, superannuation, life insurance, medical insurance, fuel discounts, birthday leave and much more.

If you're ready to take your electrotechnology career in a new direction and know you can engage, inspire and communicate trainees of all ages, contact Annie O'Keefe today.
