We are currently seeking experienced electricians to join the team on the largest wastewater infrastructure project in New Zealand. This long term project aims to construct 13 km tunnel created between western springs and Mangere and will therefore require electricians throughout the project.

The successful candidate will collaborate with engineers and mechanics to deliver both installation and maintenance with health and safety and compliance as the foremost priority.

• Assist with the installation of cables lights and fibre optics within the tunnel
• Reduce down time through scheduled maintenance.
• Diagnose and perform repairs on all electrical equipment, hand tools and plant on site.
• Full reporting and compliance reports prepared daily.

  Candidates require a minimum of 4 years experience which would preferably include previous experience working on a civil infrastructure site.
  
  Also required:
  

  • Minimum NZQA Level 4 electrical engineering qualification or trade qualification.
  • Hold a NZ electrical practicing licence
  • You will hold NZ Electrical Registration with a current NZ Electrical Practicing License
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand

    Due to the nature of this project, candidates must be flexible to work shifts however this is reflected in the pay.
