Class 5 Civil Drivers

We are looking for experienced Class 5 Truck Drivers for an upcoming Sealing and Asphalt season for our well know national client based in the Bay of Plenty Region.

There are long term opportunities for the right applicants, however this can also be seasonal. You will be operating within the Civil and Construction space and would Ideally have similar experience. We would need someone who is wiling to work night shift 5-6 days a week - Shifts start from Sundays between 8-13-hour shifts. Responsibilities would be to cart and dump millings, and to cart asphalt and load into the paver.

Majority of the work is based within Tauranga but there are also times where the crew would be required to travel and stay away for periods.

You will be responsible for:

• Carting an asphalt paving machine to each site
  • Collection of chip seal and carting to site
    • Can confidently operate your vehicle around moving machinery

              Requirements for this position:
              

              • Clean Class 5 Full licence
                • Two or more years in a driving role and relevant references
                  • Experience with, and an understanding of Health and Safety
                    • Pass a pre-employment drug test
                      • Have tipping or spreading experience (not essential)
                        • Site Safe or Construct Safe - must be current
                          • Reliable with own transport
                          • Physically fit
                            • Can start Immediately
