The Opportunity:

Our client, a successful and established Civil Construction firm out of Christchurch, has picked up a major project in Marlborough. This project is a technically challenging Civil undertaking and your involvement will take pride of place in future CV's. This opportunity will suit a hardworking & technically competent drainlayer who is seeking an opportunity to develop their leadership skills on a complex project.

We are looking to recruit a total of 6 drain layers across the project. Experience across Pump Stations, Deep Water, Terminals, Council Sewerage etc will be highly regarded.

All roles will lead to permanent positions as our client looks to establish a solid pipeline of work across the Top of the South. This upcoming project is in addition to a multi-million dollar, multi-year project started in Nelson earlier this year. This is a great opportunity to join a large and well established Civil firm that is growing and invests heavily in staff development.

              What we need from you:

              • Experienced and competent in large commercial drainage works
                • Full Class 1 license & WTR
                  • NZPGDB qualified with experience in dealing with councils (preferred but not critical)
                    • Be a reliable, honest, flexible who gets along with all types
                      • A strong advocate for health & safety
                        • The ability to lead a team to high performance
