Building and Construction

Job description

When you walk through the doors to join this team, you can tell this a future - focused group who are gripping change firmly, are smart and proactive and have an exciting, full agenda for the next 12 to 18 months.

Working hand-in-hand with engineers, representatives and project managers, your focus is to provide the support and expertise needed over the construction phase of what could best be described as an ambitious, exciting, dynamic and life-changing programme of work for Auckland.

Here, yes - expertise is important, but so too is ‘fit’. The team are proud of their culture and shared vision; there are no egos here to navigate, or ladders to climb… it’s all about delivering an exceptional result with their major projects by March 2021.

From an experience perspective, you might be an engineer or a retired project manager and have had experience in a major programme or project role for a few years ($100m+). You will absolutely know of the rigor needed regarding all aspects of the role including knowledge of NZS3910, report preparation, audits and information requests.

As to why you should apply for this contract; it stands out 1) because of the sheer enjoyment and camaraderie that make it an exceptional place to work 2) the end result is a game-changing environment for Auckland as a city.
