Our Client is New Zealand's market leader in home healthcare services supplying medical gases in New Zealand. They take pride in their innovative, responsive and customers focused approach to their wide range of services. Due to growth in their newly established Christchurch branch, they are in need of an experienced Distribution Coordinator to assist their team.

This position will see you responsible for the following tasks;
* To plan and schedule the transportation of gas cylinders to the customers
* Confirm cylinder delivery dockets in a timely manner
* Ensure all bulk deliveries are completed to the continuous customer supply process
* Organise maintenance of tankers and repairs for the fleet vehicle
* Maintain and update records accordingly
* Organise driver training and update trainings when required
* Monitor safety events on Eroad and check Seeing machines regularly
* Assist with any further branch administrative duties

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience;
* A background in transportation or production is preferred
* Qualifications in Supply Chain and Planning/Scheduling is a bonus
* Can work well in a high-pressure environment and can solve problems
* Be computer literate especially in Google Suits
* Maintain a high level of customer service and be a good communicator
* Have a good geographical knowledge of New Zealand
* Have strong knowledge around health and safety and the ways to make a workplace safe
