Our client is a family owned family owned plumbing business located in Tauranga servicing the Western Bay of Plenty area. The company was founded in the 1930's and is still going strong! They are in need of a Dispatch/ stock controller.

The ideal applicant will come from a maintenance background and have logistics and or warehousing experience with a background and or experience in a plumbing environment. They will be involved in product movement and storage organisation and have strong organisational skills and a sound knowledge of stock inventory control practices.

You will also be responsible for Maintaining minimum and maximum stock levels in the computer system. Identifying excess and slow-moving stock and conducting regular stock/inventory counts. You will also be responsible for the timely processing of purchase orders for goods required by customers and assisting with warehouse or other office duties when required.

Ideal attributes will include, but not be limited to:

* An awareness of logistics and Warehousing with mathematical skills.
* Stock Surveillance skills.
* Experience within the Plumbing Industry would be an advantage
* General Reporting and Forecasting Skills
* Competence in using software and other digital systems.
* Dependability, flexibility and a can-do attitude.
* A Team player who supports and respects others in the organisation.
* Good attention to detail with an analytical mindset.
* The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Previous experience in a purchasing/inventory role would be an advantage
