Job description

We are looking for a Dispatch supervisor to start immediately next week

This role involves supporting the team leader on site with a roster of Sunday to Wednesday 7.30am to 7.30pm 4 days on 3 days off with extra shifts available

You will need experience in a supervising or team leader role preferably in a manufacturing environment or warehousing environment with the following keys skills.

Assisting with all health and safety requirements site inspections, incident reporting, attending safety meetings ensuring all staff members are engages and have safety first attitude and culture.

Assisting with quality assurance and housekeeping is adhered too strictly as you are working with a food manufacturer, ensuring quarantine product is dealt with accordingly and assist with sign off clean sheets and audit records manage GMP standards for one area of the plant is adhered to.

technical responsibilities coordinate staffing levels and meet staff pick rates, ensure orders are packed and loaded into trucks correctly complete cycle counts and stock rates follow up on any discrepancies.
people leadership responsibilities own behaviour is consistent with vision and goals of the client have effective communications with all staff members, act as a coach and mentor to direct reports ensure team are engaged and consistently perform to a high standard.
