About the role:

This position follows a rotating shift schedule, comprising 84 hours over each two-week period. In the first week, shifts run from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM over four consecutive days. In the second week, shifts are scheduled from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM across three days. A roster will be provided two weeks in advance to inform you of your upcoming shifts.

As a dispatch coordinator, your main tasks will be to:

  • Dispatch faults received from client to field based employees.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints, escalate through notifying Service Hub Manager of potential issues where necessary.
  • Resolve problems by understanding the business and providing answers or alternative solutions, implementing solutions, and escalating unresolved issues.
  • Maintain the integrity of power systems through timely and accurate data entry.
  • Maintain client/ Registered Electrical contractor liaison.
  • Compliance with all Zero Harms policies and procedures.
  • Additional relevant duties as and when required from the Service Hub Manager.

    To progress further, you must demonstrate the following:

    • Minimum two years customer service experience
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills Time management/ organization skills
    • Problem solving ability.
    • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
    • Strong customer focus Attention to detail
    • Sound computer/keyboard skills
    • Previous Call Centre experience preferable Experience within the Electrical Industry an advantage
    • Pass a pre-employment drug test.
    • Have no criminal convictions.
    • 2 recent work-related references
