To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in the maintenance of heavy road vehicles. Preference will be given to those with hydraulic systems diagnostics and maintenance experience and/or experience in automotive electrical/electronic fault diagnosis.

A Qualification in welding to AS/NZS 2980 would be an advantage as well as your experience in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure vehicles and associated equipment are repaired, inspected for Cof etc according to company policy and vendor recommended programmes.

- Ensure vehicles are maintained in a roadworthy standard and meet regulatory requirements.

- Ensure vehicle and unit servicing is conducted in accordance with the company expectations.

- Conduct technical inspections.

- Maintain records by annotating all inspections, servicing and repairs on the job sheet and the in-cab Vehicle History File.
