Job description
My client is a long standing well established engineering firm specialised in the manufacture for machinery for construction materials.
Performing on the world stage and growing year on year, they are looking to add a CAD Detailer into there technology team.
What does this mean? You will be a specialised Applications COnsultatny, working on software builds, user training, technical writing & development and providing field support & client support.
Having strong experience in timer / steel detailing and/or drafting will be a vital part of your success in this role.
The core of your role is built around using your detailing skills to:
* Test new software features & Bug fixes
* Manage & Install new software releases
* Create and maintain user manuals
* Provide customer support for Oceania
* Create structure data files for new machines sales
* Update and manage data files
* Provide training to field staff
* Manage customer software requests & issues
* regularly meet & liaise with Commercial, development and engineering teams to manage software requests and updates.
What you need?
* 3 + years experience in detailing / drafting
* Strong understanding of detailing software
* Excellent understanding of framing & construction methods
* Have strong interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills
* Be able to communication and liaise across all levels of the business, suppliers & client base.
* Have an excellent sense of humour! This is an absolute must! This company is F U N
