About the job:

We are in search of an Experienced AutoCAD Draftsman who has worked heavily within the engineering sector. This opportunity also provides an immediate entry to be shortlisted for permanent employment once successfully making through the designated trial period of our client.

To successfully apply for this position:

• (Preferably) have had some exposure to Sheetmetal Design Work
• Be able to plan and prepare drawings or Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings for major designs and complex projects
• Assist with maintenance of drafting standards including development of computer aided Drafting techniques in Consultation with the Chief Draftsman
• Be able to use standardisation to reduce costs
• Ability to operate AutoCAD systems (2002LT)
• Have a thorough working knowledge of relevant drafting standards and techniques, regulation and codes.
• Minimum of 3 years' worth of Experience coupled with a Tertiary level Technical/Manufacturing qualification
• Solid Works Programming (would be a bonus but not essential)
