Our client is looking for a Delivery Supervisor working within the residential maintenance space to ensure that houses are up to the standards for various projects around the Hawkes Bay region.

This is a fixed term position of about 3 to 4 months starting asap. This position would suit a tradesperson that is looking to stay in the industry, but get off the tools, or someone who has basic project management experience and would like more exposure. This role is out and about, so would suit someone who loves to get away from the office and out to site.

Key Duties include but not limited to:

• Managing and coordinating a variety of trades to ensure that work is carried out on time and to a high standard
• Quality assurance of trades work
• Assisting other Delivery Supervisors with ongoing projects
• Liaising with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally while providing a high level of customer satisfaction

  Requirements

  • Trade knowledge in either the roofing, painting or other trade is preferred, but not essential
  • Ability in supervising multiple jobs concurrently
  • Ability to communicate authentically with our trades, customers, and client to ensure they understand the vision and outcomes
  • Experience running multiple projects at once and ensuring they meet the strict deadlines
  • Ability to make informed decisions and juggle multiple priorities
  • Strong computer and technology skills
