Our Client is a long established group of companies, being one of the largest manufacturers in New Zealand.

They pride themselves in providing exceptional service and high-quality products to our customers who include many of the most successful residential and commercial building companies throughout the Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Wellington, Auckland and Coromandel regions.

We have a vacancy for a Delivery Services Team Lead, to coordinate all loading and deliveries for the team to ensure that the customer receives what they are expecting.

The main responsibilities of the role include the coordination of:

* Allocate daily deliveries to the drivers
* Problem solving to ensure the best outcome
* Coordinating loading requirements with the factory
* To be able to prioritize the loading schedule
* Strong communication skills
* Managing the team of drivers
* Drive efficiencies in day-to-day activities
* Vehicle maintenance and records as well as driver license records.
* Drive the lean model of improvement with the team.

Skills and attributes required:

* Experience in Logistics
* Excellent communication skills
* A champion of efficiency, driving improvements
* A positive can-do attitude.
