This 12 month contract in Auckland CBD is in need of a Domain Architect who can collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define strategic technology roadmaps, architectural standards and patterns ensuring simplicity and agility. You will be researching and applying emerging technology solutions and approaches to our clients Data strategy. You will also provide expertise to help resolve options analysis and major decisions along with solution design guidance in an agile teams. Help teams break down challenging problems and technical issues so that decisions can be made, and teams can keep progressing forward.

About the role:

• Fully utilise your expertise in established and emerging data technologies.
• Maximise your skills in building collaborative relationships with stakeholders to understand their business and technology needs (current and future).
• Be responsible for establishing, driving, and implementing architectural principles and guidelines to support agile design and continual delivery.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of a variety of data and analytics solutions and technologies.

About you:

• Deep data domain knowledge, business acumen and commercial mind-set to help define technology roadmaps that align to strategic investment plans and technology best practice
• Strong experience in design and delivery of data technologies and solutions at scale
• Working knowledge of data management principles and practices, including data governance, data quality, master data management.
• A solid understanding of modern approaches and tooling to help define the way we structure, integrate, govern, store, model, and maintain data across the enterprise.
• A good working knowledge and practical experience working with modern data and analytics approaches and technologies including cloud-based platforms and machine learning
• Strong skills in building collaborative relationships with stakeholders to understand their business and technology needs (current and future) 
• Experience in coaching and learning from others to help strengthen data skills across the organisation
• An approach that helps solve problems, to enable the business to deliver greater value faster, while balancing short term outcomes against longer term quality and strategy drivers
• Be a big picture thinker with a willingness to accept and adapt ideas from various sources to ensure a holistic approach across Domains
• A desire to continuously learn new technologies and bring new ideas and approaches.
