They are a specialist timber merchant, processor and importer that stocks New Zealand's largest range of specialist imported, native and exotic timbers. We are looking for a Sales and Customer Support Manager to join the team on a full time permanent basis at Rosenfeld Kidson's beautiful premises in Mount Wellington.

Reporting into the Managing Director, and working with the National Sales Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of a busy sales office. Ideally you will come from a construction supplies background or a similar industry.


A typical day could involve you manging the office sales team, capturing sales leads, providing support to the reps on the road, taking incoming sales queries, quoting jobs and providing technical advice to valued customers and the team.

Duties will include but aren't limited to;

  • Taking an active role in contributing to the strategic plan for Rosenfeld Kidson with a special focus on Sales and Customer Support
  • Manage the day to day operations and staff in the busy sales office through leading by example
  • Give an exceptional level of customer service at all times by providing requested product information, pricing, lead times etc with urgency and accuracy
  • Account Management support
  • Provide leadership and line management to your team of 5 direct reports building and developing a high performing team
  • Acting as a leader to the wider business, leading by example in everything that you do
  • Provide leadership and policy that sets the direction for Health and Safety and drives a strong health and safety culture

      The successful candidate will ideally possess the following;

      • A construction supplies background or similar
      • Proven experience leading and managing a high-performing team
      • A sound understanding of how a successful customer service office operates
      • The ability to implement systems and processes that streamline performance and effectively link in with the wider business strategy
