Job description

Our Client is a not for profit organisation in the heart of Rotorua that are here to make a difference for individuals and families/whanau who are experiencing family or sexual violence or who are in difficult circumstances.

They are looking for someone who shares their vision and can work closely with individuals, whanau and the community.

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate that you:

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in counselling and be registered with New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC)
  • Have experience with working with victims who have experienced sexual harm
  • Can work cross-culturally
  • Understand Tikanga Maori, and it is advantageous if you are fluent in Te Reo Maori
  • Confident with Microsoft applications
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks to deadlines
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A great work ethic and strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
