About our Client

Our client is a leading distribution firm based in the west area of Christchurch. The client primarily takes care of the distribution and pick packing of orders for large retail companies. Our client is looking for reliable and hard-working individuals to join their team as they head into their peak season.

About the Position

This role is based outside a busy warehouse helping to devan large containers with a high volume of stock. The position is very physical and will require the candidate to be on their feet for long hours and heavy lifting will also be involved as the stock varies in weight and size.

Hours of work are day shifts Monday through Friday with the potential to work up to 50 hours.

To be successful you will show:

• Previous experience in warehousing & devanning.
• Physically fit.
• Repeated lifting up to 20kg.
• High accuracy and attention detail.
• Ability to work with high volume and work under pressure.

  Ideally you will:

  • Have an ability to understand instructions and directions.
  • Show reliability and good communication.
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Have one-two relevant references.
