Our client, based in Hornby, specialise in the manufacturing of large concrete pipes and are currently seeking an experienced carpenter or hammerhand to join their busy team.

This an opportunity for consistent work in all weather with BIG hours needed to catch up on production demand.

Duties would include:

• Fixing reinforcing steel
• Formwork assembly
• Placing, screeding and finishing concrete elements and panels
• Operating trowelling machine, concrete vibrators and use of hand and power tools.
• Mould preparation
• General yard duties

  The successful applicant will need to be:

  • Provide your own tools - hand tools, nips, scrapers and battery drill
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Have your your own transport as there will be early starts
  • Physically fit
  • A practical thinker

    A pre-employment drug-test will need to be completed prior to starting this assignment.
