A Communications Advisor needed to join a change and communications team in a government department. The role exists to enhance the provision of communication to support the change project.

The team is tasked with the development of both written and visual communication material, managing the project’s key stakeholder engagement, maintenance of the intranet, developing and analyzing the customer satisfaction and communications to the change managers. Working collaboratively and building relationships are important traits for this role. You will need to be up and running quickly as well as being able to adapt and change direction quickly if needed.

Key skills needed:

  • Communications planning for a broad audience and target audience respectively
  • Strong ability to write
  • Rapid understanding of context to develop key messages
  • Coordinating website content
  • Developing and analyzing surveys
  • Working knowledge of up to date technologies to support communications delivery
