My client is a high-profile organisation based in Whangarei. Due to strategic growth an opportunity has arisen for an individual to provide strategic insights and support in a broad range of activities.

We are looking for a highly skilled commercial and economic analyst with excellent communication skills and the smarts to be able to interpret regulatory information and deliver commercial findings and applications, dovetailing them into the strategic plan.

This role is about supporting the strategic activities of the organisation, and aligning them with the key objectives, developing models, and assisting in the strategic development of business initiatives. In this commercially focused role you will also take the lead in supporting the future direction of the organisation.

You will have a commercial or policy background with excellent analytical skills with proven experience producing findings, presenting information and assisting in decision support. You will be familiar with business concepts and what drives certain outcomes, knowing the levers to pull and understanding the consequences and benefits to certain actions.

You will have excellent Excel skills and be comfortable liaising across many departments. You must have excellent verbal and written reporting skills and the ability to build relationships and manage key stakeholders.

You will hold a tertiary qualification and have experience with Commercial, Economic or Policy analysis in a regulated environment.

This is a broad role that will require you to use your superior analytical, presentation, communication and strategic acumen in a commercial role.
