Our client is a leader in the hospitality sector. They currently seek an experienced Project Manager, to manage a range of capital development projects from design and development through to commercialisation.

As an experienced Project Manager with proven capital development experience, you will be responsible for the following deliverables:

• Development of each project from conception through to implementation
• Development of the business case to capital and operational expenditure approval
• Scoping project development by coordinating internal and external stakeholders
• Managing the project delivery through standard project management processes 
• Delivering completed projects on time, in spec and within budget and scope
• Engaging 3rd party consultants and contractors as appropriate for each project
• Negotiating through procurement contract terms and rates
• Ensuring cost management focus, and undergo value engineering for each project to ensure commercial competitiveness
• Management of project financials

Providing strong communication to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders by:

• Communicating critical issues and concerns immediately to Executive Management
• Maintaining strong internal stakeholder engagement and understanding of project status 
• Reviewing and recommending possible re-designs of project management processes

You will have a good knowledge of the construction sector and its legal framework, and understand the financial aspects and triggers that drive ROI and IRR.

Skills & experience should include:

• Proven Project Management of complex projects sizes $500K - $5M
• Industry experience relating to hospitality, entertainment or retail
• Strong ability to build stakeholder engagement
• Project Software experience MS Office, MS Project, Visio
