Our client based approx 30 minutes from Invercargill is a locally owned and operated business who produces and delivers a wide range of aggregates thorough Central, Western Southland Fiordland. Their product is tested and Quality control checks carried out at an accredited laboratory and produce certified ready mix Concrete.

The Role

We are seeking an individual who holds their current Class 4 licence & ideally Wheels endorsement & who is seeking a full time driving/ operating role. The operating position will involve being trained up on a modern Gough Engineering concrete plant capable of producing up to 12 cubic metres of concrete per hour. The plant also as an automated computer controlled batching & environmentally friendly Dust suppression/Recycling system.

• The role involves loading and driving a combination of Class 4 concrete & bulk trucks from the yard to site whether it be to the rural farmers for laneways or to residential or commercial building sites.
• You will be fully trained on the operation of the automated concrete plant.

  Days and Hours

  This role is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with the occasional Saturday from 8am to midday

  Skills and Attributes

  • Experience in class 4 driving with road ranger gear box
    • Mechanically minded
      • Physically fit as there will be basic maintenance on machinery and plant
