Our Client is one of the largest logistics providers operating in New Zealand. They offer global supply chain solutions including everything from international freight, down to domestic delivery to a business or home. They employ over 400 people across New Zealand with 15 different sites across the country and a large fleet of vehicles.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver/Store-person to join our clients key supply chain in Palmerston North. You will be a crucial part of the warehouse operation, regularly delivering on behalf of a loyal client base.

• You will spend half of your time working as a Store-person within their warehouse where you will be loading and unloading delivery vehicles with the use of Pallets Jack's and Hand Trolley's.
• You will also be required to deliver a wide variety of products across the Manawatu to different businesses or homes. This can include collecting and delivering washing machines, furniture, televisions etc.
• While conducting deliveries you will be the face of the business so you must be comfortable interacting with different clients and customers.

  This role is highly physical, and you must be able to consistently lift 20+kgs throughout the entirety of your shift. You can also lift up to 200 items per shift.

  Days & Hours

  This role is Monday - Friday, and the hours are 3:00pm - 12:00am.

  Skills and Attributes

  • Class 2 licence is essential.
  • Experience in driving.
  • Experience loading / unloading trucks - manually and with the use of machinery.
  • Physically capable of lifting 20+kg throughout the day.
