Job description
We are looking for candidates with a current Class 2 drivers licence for an immediate start.
About the client:
Our client is one of the leading companies in the civil construction industry. They have projects in roadworks, reinstatements, and traffic to name a few. They are requiring a competent class 2 driver to join their team.
About the role:
This role is predominantly driving a class 2 trucks to various sites that needs attention on a daily basis.
Some manual labouring will be involved so a candidate who does not mind getting on the shovel would be best.
About you:
Previous driving experience and roadworks knowledge is advantageous but not required.
Above all else, you need to be able to follow instruction and get to work on time.
Further to the above, you will also need:
* Pass a pre-employment drug test
* Construct safe or open to obtaining one
* At least 2 references
* Clean Class 2 licence
Qualifications:
Class 2 driver’s license and WTR A valid Construct Safe
must be logbook competent
Must be competent with various truck gear boxes (For tipper truck operators – must have PTO training and or experience)
Proven ability and competence in the proper care, maintenance of a vehicle Numerical skills and legible handwriting for paperwork completion
