Job Specifics

Our global Works and Civil client is currently looking for an Experienced Class 2 driver to assist with the setting up and dismantling of traffic sites amongst a combination of other driving and labouring duties. This is a full time position with the opportunity of it transitioning into a permanent position.

Duties

Working within a crew the role will involve the set up and dismantling of both large and small traffic sites in and around Invercargill and the greater Southland region. This is Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday as required role with generally a 7am to 5pm finish during the quieter months. The hours will increase as the warmer months come about and work is at its peak. The duties for this role will involve;

• Manual lifting of cones, signs & other civil equipment
• Pre start checks of machinery and gear
• Completion of paper work
• Health & Safety checks
• Organisation of gear
• Loading and unloading of equipment

  Job Requirements

  • Current Class 2 licence with proven experience
  • Ideally a current Traffic Control ticket
  • Physically fit due to the nature of the role
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Reliable, trustworthy with a great attitude to work
  • Must have 2 current work references
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
  • A good sense of humour
