Civil Roller Operator

Building and Construction

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Roller Operator. This role is for our season of road works and will entail working at multiple sites around Taranaki with the seal team. This position is a hands-on role and will suit an operator equally comfortable on the end of a shovel as in the cab of 9 tonne roller. It also means you will understand how a road is built and the operational excellence required from a roller operator. If you are interested in this role we would require you to have;

  • WTR licences with all practical application acquired (emphasis on the Roller)
  • Good operating and work references
  • A minimum of at least 2 years operational experience
  • An eye for detail and the ultimate understanding of how a road is built.

    Minimum of 2 years behind the wheel, attention to detail and being aware of the responsibility that comes with heavy vehicle operation are crucial.

    The bulk of this company's work is rural, and the position HQ is based in New Plymouth. If you are looking for a new challenge in your civil career why not give us a call about this position and we can discuss all the unanswered questions for you. Please contact Dan in the first instance on 06 968 4510. This is a longer-term position working with a small crew and there could be some travel away from home required and this may include some extended hours. We are paying a competitive hourly rate and look forward to hearing from you.
