On behalf of our client, a Nationwide Civil Engineering company with offices dotted throughout New Zealand, we are on the hunt for a Civil Draftsperson to join their growing team. This role in located in Tauranga, and offers a hybrid working arrangement.
You will be working on cool projects in the complex residential, commercial and public sectors.This is a great opportunity with someone who has at least 1 years' NZ experience and a relevant tertiary qualification (BE, NZDE, BEngtech would be desirable!)
The role will involve:
* Preparing drawings in accordance with relevant standards under the supervision of the engineering team
* Perform engineering, analysis and design, Seek guidance on quality of output and presentation and client relations
* Assist with scheme plans and other survey drafting
* Other tasks as reasonably delegated by Directors or Managers
You will come armed with:
* Knowledge of software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D
* Good knowledge of the NZ Civil Engineering industry
* A full NZ Driver's licence
* Excellent computer literacy
* A high standard of professionalism when dealing with clients
