Our client is a nationwide civil company. They are looking for motivated people who want to kickstart or continue a career in chipsealing and surface dressing around the Bay of Plenty. You will be able to grow your skills and learn a variety of roles - including Class 2 with a PTR roller, run chip onto the ground, drive a Class 2 and a tractor broom sweeping chip sites after they have been completed. This is a physically demanding role.

You will hold a Full Class 1 and WTR or Full class 2 and WTR.

The work is resurfacing (chip sealing) in Tauranga and Northern region as far as Waiouru to Pokeno.

The Work is mainly based on Day shift but there is a small amount of Night shift as they resurface the State Highways in the Bay Of Plenty region.

Please note near the end of the season (late February), there is a small amount of Stay Away when they complete seal on the Central North Island contract. This is normally only a couple of weeks.

Some experience would be an advantage but full training will be provided.

• Have a full clean licence and reliable transport - bonus WTR endorsements and Class 2/4
• Can pass a pre-employment drug test
• Be physically fit and injury free ( physical work will be required)
• Happy to get your hands dirty
• A positive and flexible attitude
• Happy to do some away work - it is not often and with plenty of notice
• Be available for an immediate start
