We are looking for various levels of Chefs to work in one of New Zealand's most iconic landscapes.

Nestled in the beautiful Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park, The Hermitage Hotel is home to a selection of restaurants and bars as well as a range of activities to entertain and delight.

The Hermitage Hotel have multiple vacancies ranging from Prep Chef to Sous Chef.

Providing both buffet and a la carte dining, the ideal applicant will need to be adaptable and enjoy a fast-paced working environment. You will be working alongside experienced Chef's in a modern brand new kitchen!

Offering permanent work throughout the summer months and beyond, this is a fantastic opportunity to work and save money whilst living in such a spectacular place! If you enjoy outdoor activities and living in a rural setting, this position may well be just for you!

The Successful applicant will have the following:

  • Proven experience in a similar kitchen work enviroment
  • Able to commit for a minimum 6 months
  • Comfortable working in a large kitchen
  • Adaptable to different working environments
  • Great English and communication skills
  • Team player
