Checkpoint Operator

Our client is on the lookout for a Permanent Seasonal Checkpoint Operator. The main purpose of a Checkpoint Operator will be to ensure all stock arriving at the Wharf pass through our clients Checkpoint operations and the outcomes are managed according to specification.

Key Accountabilites

• Checkpoint Pallets
• Advise Suppliers of Checkpoint errors
• Process checkpoint errors
• Checkpoint administration

  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Logical Thinking
  • Flexibility
  • Good Communication and relationship building skills
  • Background in shipping, cargo or ship loading procedures

    The Reward

    This will be a salary position and in this rare position you will only be required to work 9 months of the year starting from the middle of March and running to the middle of November. The big bonus is that you will be paid for 12 months which means you get to have 12 weeks holiday a year to enjoy the 'Bay of Plenty Sunshine'. You'll be working Monday to Friday day shifts.
