Job description

We are seeking carpenters to join our clients company based in New Plymouth. The role available will suit Carpenters with a good range of exposure to most disciplines in the industry; this will include working in residential, commercial, and industrial levels.

Equally important will be your leadership skills with possibly some responsibility for being left to run the site from time to time.

There are many sites on the go at any one time so we are looking for carpenters who are flexible and have a can-do attitude approach to each day. Your days and hours of work will be Monday to Friday 07.30am - 05.00pm, however these hours may change due to work load and some weekend work could be required.

For consideration some of the pre-requisites for these roles will include;

  • Qualified in the Trade of carpentry
  • Good range of people skills at all levels
  • Own tools
  • Flexibility and adaptability to be involved in multiple situations

    Requirements to work for OneStaff:

    • Strong & physically fit
    • ID required; NZ passport OR NZ Birth Certificate & Driver's License
    • Pass a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol test
    • Must have reliable transport
    • CV, Relevant Certificates or License (i.e. forklift or site safe passport)
