About the company:

Our client has been around since 2009 and installs their own patented, above-ground storage tanks and accessories for water and dairy effluent in New Zealand. They hold space in both domestic and export markets.

About the role:

This role involves supporting the financial administrative functions of the company. Business support will work closely with the sales, engineering, manufacturing and installation teams. The main focus of this role includes, payroll, accounts payable, financial reporting, financial management and maintenance of HR records.

What is required?:

* Systems experience with ERP and Ace Payroll/Xero or similar
* Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills - able to pull data from an ERP and translate the information into readable, comprehensive spreadsheets
* Payroll of wages and salary staff - overtime, shifts, time sheets etc.
* Oversee the day to day management of company accounts including payables, receivables, bank reconciliation and petty cash
* Creditors invoices and coding of them
* Stock management
* Management accounting
* Monthly P&L balance sheet and performance
* Liaising with an external accountant regarding financial tracking, forecasting, budget implementation and year end.
* Cash flow monitoring and reporting
* Purchasing
* Preparation of reports and accounts for annual AGM
* Issuing and receipting of materials to jobs - closing jobs once financial transactions have been completed
* Reception duties
* H&S awareness
* Managing and maintenance of training and their records

You will need to have valid working rights for New Zealand
