Our client, an established International brand whose broad reach into the market spans many channels and solutions for a diverse range of clients. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their organisation servicing the construction arm of the business. This is a new role to drive growth with new products to market.

The role:

·         Relationship development with different stakeholders, end users, building specifiers, distributors etc

·         Provide technical expertise

·         Deliver feedback/insights to the company about local NZ Building industry trends and needs

·         Mange and collaborate with Key Distribution partners through various joint sales activities to achieve business goals

·         Identify opportunities to introduce products within the group to relevant NZ market segments

·         Assist in the execution of the company’s marketing strategies and programs to meet the organisations short and long-term business objectives.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

·         Solid understanding of the NZ building/construction space and some knowledge of the building code

·         Proven strategic focus in Business Development and commercially strong

·         Demonstrate success in Business Development with new and existing customers

·         Natural technical nous

·         Ability to engage with a wide range of people up and down the ladder

·         The ability to be self-managing and autonomous

·         Solid Account Management at varying levels

·         Be driven and determined

·         Be flexible and able to handle requests on the fly
