Our client offers transport and logistics services for a wide range of business needs. They are growing their presence in the NZ market and are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team.   

The role:

  • New Business Development and growing revenue streams to expand growth and current offerings
  • Grow relationships with internal stakeholders of the wider group
  • Manage an existing network of clients
  • Manage individual pipeline
  • Strategically plan growth and activity
  • Determine customer needs and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders at varying levels 

The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:  

  • NZ transport of logistics operations experience is highly advantageous
  • Track record in solution-based sales in a B2B sector
  • Previous success in Business Development
  • Solid Account Management background
  • Relevant experience in delivering value and influencing key stakeholders
  • Be a strong relationship building up and down the ladder
  • Proven success working autonomously
  • NZ Resident or Citizen only
