Our client is a known business based in Airport Oaks area and looking for that special someone to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for one who loves account management and sales, is looking for a bit of variety, knows freight and up for a challenge.

The position:

The position is Business Development Manager with a mix of Account Management and Sales. Aspects of the role include and not limited to:

  • New business sales
  • Existing business sale
  • Converting leads
  • Oversee the sales support member in your team
  • Sales reporting
  • Various networking and opportunities to liaise with visitors, local and overseas
  • Maintaining your sales pipeline
  • Providing rates and quotes, working on tenders and proposals

    Skills and experience needed:

    • Ideally have experience in freight forwarding or shipping is idealHave the ability to know and understand the product that you are selling and quick to learn it.
    • Have excellent communication skills coupled with excellent listening skills.
    • Be a forward thinker and planner and have excellent problem solving abilities.
    • Someone who works as part of a team, values their colleagues & business they work for and someone who is passionate about what they do.

      Other info you need to know:

      • This company is offering great salary base plus tools of trade needed for the role: a car, fuel card, mobile and laptop.
      • This role is Monday to Friday - hours 8.30 am to 5.00 pm - some flexibility is required for extra hours when required.
