I am urgently seeking a Business Analyst with experience in Web Accessibility and Testing (both manual and automation) for a 6 month contract with a large government client. This role will be required to create a roadmap of where web accessibly is for the organisation and make future plans for embedding accessibility in all new websites, web applications and online publications.

To be successful for this role you will require the following skills and experience:

• Excellent understanding of using standard accessibility testing tools, including automated test tools, such as aXe and WAVE, as well as manual testing such as keyboard and zoom
• Cross-browser and cross-device testing knowledge
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Understanding of and use of ARIA
• Exceptional knowledge of WCAG 2.1 and the New Zealand Government Web Standards
• Able to understand test results and explain solutions
• Familiarity with standard video tools, captioning, transcripts, and image manipulation
• Excellent understanding of plain language and web writing, such as language used in alt-text.
• Auditing and Business Analysis skills
• Excellent understanding of Google Analytics
• Reporting, documenting, writing
• Web background (eg Web Advisor, Web Business Analyst, Web Developer, UX Designer, Test Analyst)
• Website administration ie Content Management Systems
• Test analysis skills and test reporting
