Bay of Plenty Region - Adecco New Zealand is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Builders Labourers to join our ever growing Civil and Construction team across New Zealand. These are exciting opportunities to work with a well-established company who are passionate about their people and offer genuine career progression and development.

Job Location: Bay of Plenty Region

Employment type: Full time /Permanent

Days Required: Monday to Friday. Maybe occasionally required to work on weekends

Hours per week: Minimum of 30 hours per week

Hourly rate: $26.69 to $29.00 depending on experience.

Job Description

Taking Measurements

Assisting carpenters and hammer hands on daily site tasks

Loading and unloading construction materials, tools and equipment

Managing on-site materials

Erecting and dismantling temporary structures

Using power tools and machinery when needed

Putting up warning signs for vehicles and passers-by

Helping with setting up and transferring temporary structures

Other general labouring roles as required

Maybe occasionally required to travel to other locations to work on landmark projects across New Zealand

Job pre-requisites

Experience in construction, would be an advantage (not a must as we will provide training)

Be comfortable using power tools

Having a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and presentable appearance

Hard-working, punctual, and a positive "can do" attitude

Be physically fit

Have willingness to learn

Be confident working autonomously, and Health & Safety conscious. Flexibility to work in different sites & ability to work extra hours when required.

Clean driver's License & reliable transport

Clean police records and ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests

Have valid NZ open work permit
