As the Branch Manager in Christchurch you will report to the GM of Branch Networks ( based in Auckland). This role is focussed on the sales side of the branch and requires expertise and solid previous experience across a broad range of responsibilities. You will currently be in a leadership role, driving high standards across sales, revenue management, customer relationships, branch management and health and safety in a similar environment.

Key Accountabilities will include (not limited to):

  • The ability to direct, manage and lead the branch team to achieve great sales targets
  • Work across the branch collaboratively and across the national network to leverage insights and expertise
  • Developing the sales team
  • Understand the local market and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and understand the customer base
  • Overall accountability for front line and branch sales strategies and plan
  • Managing sales targets and plans at branch level
  • Ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Driving customer relationships and building and maintaining key customer accounts
  • Working with the supply chain team to ensure logistics and stock are well managed
  • Provide leadership and direction for overall branch performance
  • Complying with all health and safety requirements

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • A minimum of 5+ years in sales leadership in a similar and/or a related industry
  • Ability to lead, coach, motivate and develop people
  • Strong capability across profit and loss statements and financial transaction management
  • Experience in best practice sales processes
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • A customer focused and positive people approach
  • Relevant software and computer skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Full drivers licence

This is a fantastic branch management leadership role for a passionate and motivated individual who is happy to get stuck in and drive the branch to succeed. You will have a commercial focus and really understand the customer experience. The smaller customer and the key accounts all play a major part.
