We are looking for an experienced Boilermaker to join a local engineering firm that has a national reach. This company specialise in heavy mechanical engineering, fabricating and fitting in their workshop and then installing on sites around the country. This position will be solely workshop based.

Key tasks:

• Read and understand all drawings
• Heavy fabrication
• MIG Flux Core and Stick welding
• Heavy mechanical fitting
• Working to tight deadlines
• A strong commitment to Health & Safety

  Skills & Attributes:

  • Minimum 5 year's heavy engineering experience
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to fabricate using technical drawings
  • Ability to pass welding tickets
  • Trade qualification is an advantage
