ASSISTANT MANAGER

Our client requires an Assistant Manager in the service delivery industry.

Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for providing day-to-day direction and management of the organisation by ensuring all standard operating procedures are followed, up-skilling employees in health, safety and environment awareness and maintaining training records, assisting with the management of any incidents or accidents and identifying and controlling hazards in workplaces.

Along with the above you will be required to foster and maintain existing business relationships with other branches, suppliers, and service providers.

There is a medium sized team to manage and support of which you will actively encourage to operate within the company guidelines to provide quality service.

This role is varied and requires someone with flexibility. This company knows what team work is all about and is hands on to cover each other's role for absences. There will be at times a requirement to cover drivers so a class 2 drivers licence is required and a dangerous goods licence would be an advantage or need to be gained if successful in the role.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 45-50 hours per week average. Geographic area is Albany to Kaitaia so some travel is required to support satellite workplaces. Applicants must be physically fit.

A good remuneration, cell phone, plus a company vehicle with full use of is included. This role will be based in Whangarei CBD.
