The Company
Our client is a fast-growing start-up company, in the technology and software sector. They have doubled in size in the last 12 months and are continuing to grow in 2019. Due to a recent internal promotion, they are now looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant into the team.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, the main responsibility of the role will be Credit Control / Debt Collection. This requires someone speaking fluent English and strong telephone communication skills. The role will also involve:
• Accounts payable
• Monthly billing and reconciliations
• Manage the fixed asset register
• Assist with preparation of weekly Payroll
• Daily bank account reconciliations
• Treasury, banking and credit card management
• Ad hoc accounting and general tasks as required
About You
The ideal candidate will have the following:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Previous Accounts Receivable / Credit Control experience
• A relevant tertiary qualification
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
• Strong communication skills, including fluent English
• Flexible and adaptable in their approach to work
