Job description
We are currently looking for a skilled assembly assistants to work with our client who is a world leader in their field of industrial manufacturing.
The role requires a candidate to use a variety of tools and techniques for pre-assembling coils to poles, and then preparing the cast mould for the next process. The successful applicant will then remove the cast magnet from the jigs, clean the jigs, and prepare the next magnet
The skills needed are:
- Able to use hand tools
- Ability to work with sanders to achieve high finish
- Knowledge of assembling jigs and fixtures with clamps
- Preferably have some knowledge of reading engineering drawings
Suitable training will be provided for candidates who have a proved work history in a similar environment.
Basic requirements to- Your own transport to site.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Able to supply two references.
- Able to lift up to 25kgs
Hours of work are Monday to Friday for approximately 45 hours a week with some overtime available.
