Our client is a large architectural and structural engineering consultancy for the industrial and commercial sector. As a result of growth, they are looking for multiple experienced draughtspeople to join their team in Hamilton.

We are open to candidates with all levels of experience, including senior managers, but you will need to have relevant work experience from NZ due to our unique building codes and building techniques.

Due to the nature of the customers, ideally you will have prior experience working with structural steel, concrete, pc, etc. and have produced drawings for factories, power plants, offices, warehouses, etc.

In summary, the requirements are,

* A relevant tertiary qualification
* Experience working in a drafting role in NZ and good knowledge of building codes (mechanical drafting is not suitable)
* Advanced user in Revit highly preferred (AutoCAD for the right person)
* Prior experience in industrial/ commercial
* Excellent documentation and drawing skills
* Managerial or team leading experience will be highly regarded
