Company

Our client whose business was founded in the 1970's in the Canterbury region & have increased in size with branches in Invercargill, Gore, Christchurch & Palmerston North are one of NZ's leaders in quality Agriculture Implements, Service & Advice. Due to increased business in Invercargill our client is now seeking a Permanent Parts Assistant to support the Parts Manager.

The Role

This is a full time newly created junior type role involving assisting the Parts Manager. Dealing with a variety of agriculture equipment including NZ brands, Krone & Hustler as well as imported equipment brands such as Quivogne & Buhler, this will be an exciting, busy & varied position where you will quickly become part of the team & have the following responsibilities.

  • Customer Service - both face to face, over the phone & via email
  • Assisting with invoicing & purchasing
  • Supporting mechanics & fellow staff to ensure products are available or ordered to ensure timeliness of work is carried out
  • Planning & scheduling of work
  • Promoting and Sales of equipment

    Skills & Attributes

    Full in house training will be carried out however ideally you will have the following skills & Attributes

    • Experience with Customer Service via face to face, phone & Email
    • Comfortable with the day to day use of computers & IT equipment.
    • Knowledge of agricultural sector would be advantageous however full training will be provided
    • Ability to work in a busy environment & Multi Task
    • Excellent presentation, communication and written skills

      Hours & Days

      • Monday to Friday 7am to 5.00 pm role however the occasional Saturday may be required.

                  Pay

                  $19.00 - $22.00 per hour & will be negotiated at interview, this will be reviewed as training progresses.
