Tradestaff is searching for an energetic and friendly person to join our Support Team. This role was specifically created to provide extra support to our Recruitment Consultancy team nationwide.

The rostered hours are:

Mon - Tuesday 5.00pm - 9.00pm
Sunday 12.00pm - 8.00pm

This role is based out of our busy Central Christchurch Head Office. There may also be additional hours available at times during the weekdays and evenings to cover other call centre shifts.

What will you be doing?

You will be taking calls from around the country. You will be answering questions, solving problems, filling jobs, taking messages, updating the database or at times escalating calls to the on-call staff member at the appropriate branch.

When the phones are quiet you will be completing data entry tasks or other administrative tasks. Accuracy and attention to detail is very important in this role.

You will need to have a sound knowledge of Microsoft office and some good experience working with a database or within a call centre.

You will have an excellent telephone manner, a strong customer service focus, be flexible and can work well in a sole charge environment.

Full training is provided for the right person that is positive, reliable, self-motivated and happy working in a sole charge environment. Being solution focused, calm under pressure, accurate with your notes into the system and ability to communicate to our Temps and Clients is also important.

Any administration or call centre experience would be extremely advantageous.
