Permanent position for a Language Planning Advisor based in the CBD.

• You will have ideally experience in being part of a team at the leading edge of change and proven experience in Maori Language development or in language planning for other languages.
• Previous experience and demonstrated success in a role that required well-developed influencing skills.

  The purpose of the position is to support the Senior Language Planners in identifying opportunties for the introduction or revitalisation of Te reo Maori within government agencies and private sector through the development of a language plan reflecting the organisations goals and it's ability and readiness.

  Developing working relationships with clients you will work in partnership with client agencies in the development and implementation of the Language Plan providing advice and support to ensure take up across the agency.

  You will be a Te reo speaker with planning and managment skills and have a sound understanding of key issues impacting on Maori Language development and regeneration.
