We have a fantastic career opportunity for a new Advisor Support person to join Apex Advice, Tauranga. The role is focused on the processing of new business from beginning to end, by managing and supporting all administration functions between Financial Adviser’s, Clients and Insurers - this mainly involves compiling reports for brokers and liaising with clients to complete applications.

Apex Advice Tauranga, is independently owned and part of the wider Apex Advice Group, a 100% New Zealand owned Financial Services company. They provide clients with full ‘wrap around’ financial advice and services, which include: Insurance cover, both personal and business; Kiwisaver; Home Loans; Investment Advice, Strategies and Retirement Planning.

About the Role and the Ideal Candidate:Experience in the Life Insurance and Financial Services industry would be ideal, but more importantly we are looking for the right person who is a good fit for this team and is….

• Detail oriented, accurate, exceptionally well organised, has strong time management and multitasking capabilities
• Self-motivated, proactive and a fast learner;
• Proficient across Microsoft Office and ideally experienced in CRM programmes;
• Has the know-how for diary management and preferably experienced with digitally and manually filing information correctly.
• Knowledge around compliance and compiling reports would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
• You will be a trusted ‘People Liaison’. Accurate information collecting is key with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Up for a challenge! You will be working closely with our Advisors to complete Statements of Advice and assisting with Insurance Applications for clients, ensuring all documentation is completed and filed to meet compliance regulations.
• Your job at Apex is to support our Advisors, so they will ensure you also get the support you need to learn and grow into this position.
